The Lamborghini Huracan: A Videogame Legend Comes To Life

There are a lot of supercars that have leapt from the creative imagination to the gaming console, and this phenomenon has been the norm in virtual entertainment. Anything that can be wished in the artistic mind can land a spot in a video game. There are a few things, however, which do the reverse. This is exactly what happened to the Lamborghini Huracan.

Seemingly, this particular model from the garage of Ferrari’s biggest rival was created with the generation of videogame racers as a target. With the Huracan, drifting a supercar with so much precision at lightning speeds is no longer limited to the videogame experience. It’s as real as can be.

The technical name of the Huracan, LP 610-4, directly refers to the car’s engine that packs 610 hp, which is driven with all 4 wheels active. Easily, the Huracan made it as Top Gear’s Supercar of the Year 2014.

Its street name Huracan (Spanish for ‘hurricane’) was inspired by a Spanish fighting bull, which of course is the totem of the brand.

The Huracan has other interesting variants, with the most chic civilian ride being the Huracan Spyder coming in as a convertible. Also, there is the Huracan Polizia which now is the most powerful vehicle officially designed for the Italian State Police.

The view from the driver’s seat reflects the exact perspective in a videogame, and with the maximum speed of 341 kph, it’s now possible to burn the concrete with the power of a hurricane. The Lamborghini Huracan is one sweet ride.
